Capiz is known as “Sea Food Capital of the Philippines” because of its abundance of marine product like blue marlin, squid, oysters, shrimp, seaweed, squid and angel wings. It is also popular in its numerous beautiful spots, with each one a unique sightseeing experience. The beautiful spot of Maayon, Panay, Pilar, Mambusao, Dumalag, Pilar and Jamindan and other places that could be proud of with its wonderful sites like in my town, the Municipal of Ivisan.
Ivisan was part of 2nd district of Capiz. The presently mayor of this town is Felipi “Ipe” Yap, the youngest brother of former mayor Noel Yap. The common sources of income of Ivisanon are farming and fishing and the primary agricultural raw products are rice and coconut. 
Ivisan is known of its beautiful place that appeals to numerous visitors. Every time you pass by in Ivisan, you will see the colorful landscape that surrounded by magnificent mountains. If you want to experience peaceful mind from the hustles in the city, you must not think twice to visit our beaches and resorts. One of those is the Sta. Ana Resort that can be found in Brgy. Ilaya, Ivisan, Capiz. And the other one is the Malakha Resort, situated in area of Brgy. Yabton, Ivisan, Capiz. The Virgin Beach and Patyo Beach that can be in Basiao, Ivisan, Capiz where you can enjoy with its beautiful scenery.
