My Price Possession

What is your most precious thing you have? Me, it’s my bracelet. My father gave this to me when I was 11 years old. Every time I saw it, I always remember my father. That is the only memory he left. That is why it is very valuable to me.

I remember the day before my father departure in Manila for medical check-up, he gave me a gold bracelet. He said it was my advance gift in my 18th birthday. It was very nice and it really fitted me. That time, I wonder why my father give the bracelet in that day instead of giving it in the day of my debut. I’m just 11 years old when he gave it to me. In his leaving, I never thought it was my last time to see him. In few weeks they spend in Manila for his medication, my mom called and informed us that the sickness of my father is fatal. After a month, my father died. I was shocked and feel sad. I never expect it will happen to him. Later, I realize why my father give it in advance because he already know that he never be with me anymore. The bracelet is the last thing I receive from him.

A Place near Water

Boracay

Boracay

I never had been experience this before. Last year, my aunt and I decided to spend our summer hot day vacation in Boracay. I am so excited that time. It was my first time to go there. I was amazed with their place especially the clear, crystal water which I can see the underwater living things. I enjoyed watching the cute, multicolored fish while swimming in the water. I feel I want to join with them in swimming but sadly, I don’t know how to swim.

Boracay is very nice place to relax and free your minds from the busy life of the city. Surrounded with coconut and comfortable, native cottages, Boracay prove to be the most attractive tourist spot in Panay Island. It is the perfect and real place for us to enjoy.

If I’m going to build my house someday, I want to construct it in Boracay. This is the spot I love. Near in the sea, peaceful and fresh.

A Place Daydream About

Singapore

Singapore

Have you ever been in Singapore? It is a beautiful and nice place to tour with your whole family. We can found this place in Asia. When we look in the map, Singapore is just a small country but it is wealthy in terms of economic aspect. Philippines is much bigger than Singapore but our economy is poor. Why? It is because of mismanaged of our leaders.

Since I was child, I really dreaming to go in Singapore. I am amaze with their countless buildings. Beside their architecture, the features of their buildings are very amazing that attract numerous tourists. Every time I saw the issue of Singapore in magazine or in TV, it truly took my attention. I also admire this place for being clean. As I read in the magazine, this country is known for its strictly discipline of cleanliness of their place. When you go everywhere, you wouldn’t see any trash scattered. That is how discipline they are. Aside from that, the mainly beautiful spots attract by the tourist are their huge malls, restaurants, the ocean park, and many more.

How wish I can go there. Maybe if I already have a lot of money.

Ferris Wheel

Last month was the celebration of our annual fiesta in town. It was so exciting. Anywhere, you can see lot of stall holders, people and carnabals. If there is carnabal, there is ferris wheel which I like to ride.

I remember the first time I ride in ferris wheel. At first, I didn’t want to ride because I’m scared. I’m thinking that I’m going to fall. All I think is negative. But later, I put it away those worries and negative thoughts. I tried to ride even I’m nervous. I was accompanied by my cousin that time. She was just calm and I could see in her face the excitement. When it start to move, I can feel my hand getting cold but the time were in up, I was amazed the beauty of our town. Those nervousness I have at first was turn to enjoyment.  I could see the mountains, the roof of houses and the people below. It was awesome. It was my great ride.

My Childhood Toy

My Brown Teddy Bear

My Brown Teddy Bear

Our stuff toys are become our companionship when we are alone. It is our friends when we have no friends. Since child, we have lot of stuff toys but there is one of those things we like most. We bring it everywhere we go. It is the only toy we played, care and treasured.

When I was child, my favorite toy is my brown, cute teddy bear. It was a gift of my aunt to me in my 5th birthday. This lovely teddy bear is very precious to me that no one can touch it but only me. Even it is dirty, I still like to play with it. It is different among the other stuff toys I have. When I’m going to bed, this charming toy is always in my side. I like this teddy bear because it is soft like cotton. That round, black eyes seem like it is talking to me. The sweet smile gives innocence to her face. It was lovely.

In the present, I still treasure it and keep it

The Person I Admired

My Mom

Everyone has own admiration to someone. You admired his/her principles in life. A person, you give more respect than the others. You are inspired in what this person did. It provides happiness, and encouragement to your life. Someone you want to become your model because of his/her hard to believe achievements in life.

For me, the person I admire most is my lovely mother. Why? It is because she let me see the beauty of the world and to know what the life is. My mother leads me to learn my role in society and develop my personality. She is the greatest mother for me ever. My mother did everything to provide us a fine life. When my father died, she took all those responsibilities of my father. I now it was hard but she tried to do it well. I admired her for being hard working, patience, neatness, diligence, self-esteem, and lovable.

We love our mother very much. We are glad that she is our mother. It is not because of her sacrifices, I’ll never be like this.

Shopping Mall

Last year, I went to Bacolod with my classmates.  It was our field trip. It was tiring and exhausting trip but when we arrived in the place, we were satisfied. I was amazed with the scenic view of their place particularly their huge malls and I have only been to a few. In this piece, I’ll describe what life I have at SM-Bacolod, one of the malls in Bacolod City.

The SM-Bacolod has only two storeys but it is wide. This mall is rich area, lots of food refreshment and plenty of clothing stores. It is full of clothes, shoes, jewelry and other imported and local stuff to buy. This flashy mall is a place where the people can meet, hang out and have a meal. That time everything was on sale. That is what people wait and done more shopping.

I actually very impressed at how nice this mall is. The mall is kept very clean and updated. You’ll enjoy walking around and feel safe. There is a lot of security walk around to assist you. The sellers there are also nice to their customers. There is nothing to complain by their service.

Every time I pass in the side of the river from cathedral going to market, I saw the Aeta scattered in the street with their young ones. They are those black skinned, nappy hair, big wide nose, big lips, round and chinky eyes, and short. These indigenous people are living in the mountainous area of Capiz and not also here but iin other places of Philippines. They believe to be the descendants of the original settlers of the Philippines. Read the rest of this entry »
